What are the Anti-Spam Features? |

Anti-Spam features are considered those
Hardware and Proximity Marketing Campaign features that take
into account and respect Consumer decisions rejecting the
marketing content. An important Anti-Spam feature is logging
the Bluetooth Address of a Mobile Device that rejected the
content and not attempting to transmit content to this
device any further. This is called the Block List. |

What is Device Discovery? |

discovering Bluetooth-enabled Mobile Devices by Bluetooth
Cells and identifying their hardware and software
capabilities in order to transmit to them appropriate Mobile
Content. This is a feature of Bluetooth Cells and it is
extremely vital and important for the success of a Proximity
Marketing Campaign because it ensures that the right content
is delivered to the right device. |

What is Fallback Content? |

Fallback Content is the content being
transmitted to devices that cannot be identified by Device
Discovery protocols and processes of a Bluetooth Cell. In a
nutshell, Fallback Content must be able to load on any
Mobile Device and such content are usually JPG image files. |

What are OBEX Menus and Incremental
Content Download? |

OBEX Menus are Java applications (MIDlets)
that are sent to Consumers over Bluetooth and when they run
on a Mobile Device they present a Content Catalogue
of files that are available on the Bluetooth Cells; such
catalogues can be long lists of MP3 files, 3GP files, etc.
The idea is that the Consumer can select the content file he
/ she wishes to download on his / her Mobile Phone over
Bluetooth from the Bluetooth Cell. The process of
downloading content from an OBEX Menu is called Incremental
Content Download. |

How can I measure the Success of a
Proximity Marketing Campaign? |

the number of devices discovered, the number of
devices downloaded the content and the number of
